These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Los Compadres Taquería website and related online features. By using the site, you agree to these Terms.
Los Compadres Taquería is a food truck based in Elmhurst, Queens, New York, offering Mexican street food for walk-up service and catering. Hours, locations, and menu items may change without notice based on weather, permits, supply, and events.
You may use this site for lawful personal purposes: viewing our menu and schedule, contacting us, requesting catering quotes, subscribing to updates, and placing orders where available. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, scrape content at scale, or interfere with its operation.
Menu descriptions, photos, prices, and availability are for information and may change. We may correct errors and refuse or modify orders when an item is unavailable or a price is listed incorrectly.
Online ordering features may include a checkout simulator that does not process real card charges. When live payments are offered, you agree to provide accurate information and pay all amounts due. Order confirmation does not guarantee a specific pickup time until we confirm it. For food safety, follow any pickup instructions we provide.
Catering inquiry forms request information so we can check availability and prepare a quote. Submitting an inquiry is not a binding booking. A catering engagement is confirmed only when both parties agree in writing (including email) on date, location, menu, guest count, price, and deposit terms. Deposits and cancellations will be stated in that confirmation.
Our kitchen and truck handle common allergens (including wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish) and cross-contact can occur. Tell us about severe allergies when you order or book catering. We are not responsible for allergic reactions when risks were not disclosed or when cross-contact cannot be fully avoided in a shared cooking environment.
Site content — including branding, logos, text, photos, and design — belongs to Los Compadres Taquería or our licensors. You may not copy, sell, or commercially reuse it without our written permission.
The site and services are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access.
To the fullest extent allowed by New York law, Los Compadres Taquería and its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or our services. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us through the site for the transaction at issue or (b) $100.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in state or federal courts located in Queens County or New York County, New York, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
